Today is International Women's Day. That's right ladies, a WHOLE DAY dedicated to us. Even though one day isn't nearly enough, we will take what we can get because we are proud and honorable, and because its one more day than we had before!

In tribute of this day, I wanted to take a moment to highlight a few women that have inspired me to #beboldforchange. Deciding to change your life's course and transition away from a cushy 9-5 finance job to hopefully a successful fitness and (male dominated) tech career does not come easy.  It is through the inspiration that these women unknowingly provided that motivated me to launch My Sweat Story and be bold for change within myself. Change requires  a moment of impact and that is exactly what each of these women have provided. This post is to say THANK YOU for being you and shinning a light for myself, and others to follow.

Hannah Bronfman

You are bold, beautiful and working in a male dominated industry. You do you and make it your own. Thank you for keeping things real.

Beverley Cheng

You have this unique sense of humor and hilarity for life. You balance a 9-5 with your fitness career and I resonate a lot with that part of you. You were a large reason I knew I was only telling myself excuses rather than letting myself see results. Your videos are an inspiration to take that next leap in the social media world and I admire you for putting yourself out there and always keeping it fresh and fun! Thank you for all of the inspiration and motivation!

You have an energy and aura about you that is completely contagious. I don't think I've ever seen a photo or video without a grin ear to ear. For someone who is so happy you are also so bad ass. You are an inspiration for strength. Thank you for keeping fitness fun and motivating me to pick up those weights!

Johanna Seier

You are a breath of fresh air! Your constant message of self love and female empowerment are so important, I can't thank you enough! You have taught me many lessons about myself and inspired me to do better and feel better in my own skin. You are a unique gift in this world and I hope all the best for you in your continued success a women in fitness!

International Women's Day 2017 is asking you to #BeBoldForChange. I want you to ask yourself, how are you making this world a better working world - a more gender inclusive world? What doe you value and how are you expressing those values day to day? Below are the core values that drive International Women's Day. Please answer the poll and let me know what one of these values you value most!
